I currently work as a Software Engineer at Red Bull Technology, where the main focus of my work is in designing and developing software strategy tools for the Red Bull Racing F1 team. My most recent projects have covered the almost completely opposite worlds of Windows Driver Development and .NET, particularly C# 4.0, WPF and WCF.
Prior to this I had been working commercially with C and C++ since 2002, primarily in the network and telecommunications fields while working for Her Majesty’s Government Communications Centre, HMGCC.
Other projects have involved me in project management, database design and implementation and web and scripting technologies such as HTML, CSS, jQuery, AJAX, PHP and Python.
I’m a keen photographer and love traveling the world and seeing new people and places. I live in Northampton with my wife, Emma and our two cats, Suki and Aiko. Their names both mean ‘beloved’ in Japanese. In 2010, I undertook a photo a day “Project 365″ which you can find here.
